Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish singer, musician and actress. Corr first made an appearance in 1990 as the lead singer of the Celtic folk rock and pop rock group The Corrs along with her three siblings, Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland and is a singer-songwriter actress, musician, and performer. Andrea Corr was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was conferred upon her, as well as being known as the member of the Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock group The Corrs. A multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of the Corrs, she is also the leader. Andrea started her career as an actress in 1991. Later, she became a musician and stage artist. She worked as an accompanying singer in the 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted artist. She has a total of six studio albums, two compilation albums and two live albums and one remix. Furthermore, she has been awarded for her humanitarian work. Andrea as well as her partner, a stockbroker, have two children. Andrea began music lessons learning the tin flute. Gerry taught her to play piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. She spent the teenage years learning to play the instrument. She started by singing alongside her family members, and then became the singer-in-chief of the band. Andrea was a student at Dun Lughaidh Convent as well as a participant in numerous school plays.
